Spray Bottles

What To Do

Fill the spray bottles with watered down paint. You may also used water dyed with food coloring but be very careful to cover preschoolers clothes if you are using food coloring.

Provide each preschooler with a piece of construction paper. Fill several spray bottles with different colors of watered down paint to provide a variety of colors. Teach preschoolers how to aim the spray bottles at the paper and squeeze the trigger to create a beautiful splatter paint picture.

This technique can be used on it's own or as a base for a larger project. Cut shapes out of your splatter painted art for a fun variation or add collage material to the artwork.

This is a fun activity to do after reading the preschool book, Old Black Fly.
